View from the bridge

As vaults go, the one containing the archive of RIBA Journals going back to 1893 is somewhat elevated. At regular intervals I enter the vaults to glean material for our “Perspective” page, looking back over the years. This is the view from my eyrie overlooking the main floor of the British Architectural Library at the RIBA. Unconsidered trifles they may be, but these sometimes worn volumes contain treasures.
