In December 2008, Atom Publishing conducted RIBA member research. A newsletter was sent out to over 11,000 RIBA members asking them to take part in an online questionnaire. The survey was completed by 245 RIBA members

We asked them the following questions:

1. How much of RIBA Journal do you read regularly?
2. Are you a practising architect?
3. Do you specify products?
4. How would you rate RIBA Journal against its competitors?

In summary…

91% of architects surveyed read half to all of RIBA Journal

87% of architects surveyed said they are practising

88% of architects surveyed said they specify products

84% rate RIBA Journal as good to excellent against its competitors
